Nice prism, suitable for a gift.

Nothing to say, a beautiful prism in a box that you are happy to give. I bought it to take pictures, I'm sure it will be perfect for this job.

Fairly well made Prism

We didn't look for it for scientific purposes or for use in the classroom. We just wanted one of them to sit on the table and scatter rainbows throughout the house as the sun moves across the sky. He's doing fine. The rainbows aren't as sharp as the higher-end models, but for the price quoted, it works well.

I have several prisms including several that cost significantly more than this and a lot less. The main difference is the quality of the material - I have a 2 inch prism that produces phenomenal "rainbows" but it costs around $40. This prism is impressively large and will produce a rainbow, but not as spectacular (that's on my side). in comparison, and nowhere is as accurate or "scientific" as in lab comparisons.)
