Filterbuy 14x25x1 HVAC AC Furnace Air Filters, MERV 8, Pleated (4-Pack, Silver) Review

Never used this brand. I bought a four pack. The first one I pulled had a 2 inch warp at the corner where the filter was not attached to the side. The metal meshes don't sit well in the filter so the filters literally stuck together and I had to take them apart to use one. The likelihood that this brand will no longer be used

Someone actually put plastic wrapped air filters in a box with a 40lb cat litter bag. This isn't the first time filters have been confused with structural elements. but they also came alone in their own box. I think it depends on the person working that day? The filters work perfectly and are changed every 2 months as long as they are not crushed.

This was an upgrade from the filter I had previously, I used the merv8 rating as the unit is older. Overall it's a great build quality with no kinks in the design. I've noticed that the paper element isn't necessarily straight for some, but oh well. Since it's a higher merv rating than the old one, I'll probably change it sooner due to better filtering in the summer.

I have found these air filters to be more durable than others I have installed in my HVAC system so hold your ground better the reciprocal plenum. After 3 months I found that they were capturing and collecting a very noticeable amount of particles to the point that they were noticeably less transparent than the remaining unused filters. That's exactly what they should do. I will buy this again.

Due to current world events I was having trouble finding 14x25x1 filters so I decided to give these a try. I check a filter every 3-4 weeks when the AC is on so the 4 pack was great value. When I installed the filter it fit right away and was better than what I was using. The airflow in my house is better and cooler. I highly recommend these filters and look forward to my next delivery.

I have used all filter levels before. Quality filters are expensive. HVAC specialists say they can be so dense that they make your HVAC's work harder. The cheapest seem acceptable at first glance when changed monthly, but they let dust through - as you can see if they come out pretty clean when you take them off. HVAC experts recommend an average MERV rating, but make sure it has wrinkles and change it monthly. Thus, it is an ideal product at a reasonable price for a monthly replacement.

This was my first purchase from FilterBuy and I can say it should have been better. First the box was crumpled on one side (full length so that solved most of the problem) so one frame was bent and two were crumpled on the edges causing some delamination of the cardboard. Shame on you USPS. Second, two of the four filters stuck together because the edge sealing glue was sprayed all over the surface. Too bad, too bad, FB. I can use filters sparingly but I would really prefer a better build from…
