Grandma 7 years old on early development electronic toys

We bought this for our granddaughter's first birthday. Our sister-in-law suggested it. It seemed well built but I think it was a bit overpriced for what you get. I haven't seen our granddaughter play with him. She was more interested in toys that made a lot of noise or caused action.

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Great for a variety of games

I like it because it can carry more than the sorting forms that come with it and little girls love to carry stuff around. Even my one year old opens it to get things, then puts them back and carries them around. I also LOVE that the sounds are quiet and can be turned off! Fisher Price always seems to do a good job and this is another good job!

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • No

Cute but small toy for toddlers

We have two small picnic baskets for our daughter and although this one is smaller I prefer it at the moment. It's more educational and interactive. The figures have food and the basket will talk to them when you place them in the slots provided. However, it is not very deep and often you have to move one shape to insert another. But otherwise a great toy and a cute little set.

Pros
  • Quick change
Cons
  • Something is wrong

fun, but. Not Educational

This toy was a great Christmas present for my 18 month old niece. But she was already fed up and lost two pieces (now it's 8pm and she got it at 9am). I would say "yes it's a fun toy" but I'm not sure I'll be buying another one in the future. It was also quite expensive for what you get. I would say something like $12.99 or less would be a more reasonable price for this item.

Pros
  • Well Built
Cons
  • Style 90

Fisher-Price Sweet Sounds Picnic Hamper

I bought two of these toys for two great granddaughters, one 9 months old and the other 17 months old. This basket is full of fun and learning, both loved it, as did their mothers (my granddaughters). It features 31 songs to listen to and sing along to, as well as a learning experience by placing the appropriate item in the correct hole. The 17-month-old simply placed it on her arm and walked around while trying to sing along.

Pros
  • It's Amazing
Cons
  • Some Bugs

Great fun for babies and toddlers

This toy has grown with my little one since she was a few years old. At first it was just plain beautiful, and then she discovered that the lid starts the music. I have to admit the singer's intonation at the end of the Bumblebee song drives me crazy, but it's easy to miss. Different settings provide variety so that the child learns, has fun and the parents don't burn out with the same noises over and over again. My only complaint was that I bought most of the Fisher Price line from this series

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Incredible piggy bank
