Good glass, weak heating element

Easy to install and install well, but the heating element is not good, only heats a small circle in the center very slowly, while the OEM melts the whole glass and fast, before I had to replace it and the metal tabs that had to be removed from the old mirror was an absolute nightmare to fit into this mirror.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • High price

Perfect fit, great quality and easy to install

This mirror fits perfectly and installs in seconds on my 2012 Ford F150 Platinum with power and heated mirrors. It seems to match OEM quality for 1/2 the price. The only thing that caught my eye was the inscription "Rear View Objects". wasn't as dark/bold as the OEM, which to be honest is probably better. All in all a great product at a great price! I would recommend the 1 day delivery option and can't beat it.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • So far so good

Not an Exact Match - Electrical

Product is designed to work for the 2009 F150 - and it does, with the exception of the mirror. The mirror does not have the same electrical connections as the original mirror. I used it anyway. The heater is connected but I don't know what the other connector is for. I haven't found a way to contact the seller to ask about it. In general, a new mirror is better than the cracked mirror it replaces. The photo I posted shows the back of the original mirror I replaced.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Will Not Fit All

Finally a homemade replacement for a broken mirror

A few years ago I paid a dealer $200. To replace the side mirror on my SUV, as I said to order the whole set. I've always wondered why not just glass? When my dad's truck mirror shattered, I looked for cheaper alternatives and found these! Pull out the old mirror and disconnect the heating cable, connect the new mirror heating cable and insert the new mirror. Easy! I needed five minutes. Very detailed instructions, and there's a YouTube tutorial if you're still unsure.

Pros
  • Quality workmanship
Cons
  • Can't remember

good for money Big design flaws.

A regular option for the money. However, I am reporting back with a few problems. First, the mount seems looser than it should be. Bounces like crazy when driving and is very distracting, especially at night. Second, I didn't realize it until it got cold, but the deicer is a joke. It only defrosts a smaller part of the mirror. I thought it was defective, but on closer inspection it turned out that the heating coils only cover a smaller part of the total surface of the mirror. By draft. Would…

Pros
  • Excellent
Cons
  • Not bad

I would not buy this mirror again! It was relatively cheap and I think you get what you pay for. I have an F150, replaced a broken factory mirror with this one. This replacement mirror appears much thinner and lighter than the original factory mirror. I found the mirror to be easy to install, although it does feel a little looser than the factory mirror despite all 4 latches being engaged. What I really hate about a mirror is the distortion and unevenness of the mirror surface. It also seems to

Pros
  • Top marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • Hard to say

Perfect fit for my 2004 Ford F150 XLT FX4!

Last year we bought a used Ford pickup. This is a thoroughly working truck that has been driven by previous owners. It had several broken or missing parts, one of which was a shattered passenger side mirror. I was delighted to find this replacement mirror that fits me perfectly. This mirror has a built in heater but my truck does not have this feature. There is a version without a heating element, but it seemed cheaper to me. The only difference between this mirror and the original is that the…

Perfect fit for my 2011 F150

This mirror fits my 2011 Ford F150 XLT 5.0 V8 passenger side mirror perfectly. Installation was literally a click or two or three. The only difference I noticed between this and the original mirror was that the text "closer than they seem" was a bit lighter and the black plastic frame around the mirror was about 1mm thinner. Not enough to even notice, and certainly not enough to alter the mirror's functionality. The electrical connections were right where they should be and firmly attached to…

Pros

  • Questionable purchase for seniors
