My dragon refuses these

I can't comment on the quality as my dragon categorically refuses to eat them. I've even made little cricket burritos (wrapped in veggies) and I'm not kidding, this brat sniffed, grabbed burritos, angrily shook his head like a dog and threw the cricket out. He did this to everyone, so now there are those poor crickets scattered around the cage. ug. So I guess they don't smell good to him, but he'll eat them alive. Ultimately I think it depends on your pet but they didn't work for me.

Turns out I have a gorgeous light green gecko that's over a foot long.

I first ordered this for the little frogs we plan to keep as pets. They were too big for three little triplets. I have decided to return the item. The company gave me the money back but didn't ask me to return the goods. However, I almost threw it away. After about 6 months I redesigned my flower garden and noticed some really big lizards so I planted them in the garden. Turns out I have a beautiful light green gecko that lives in my tree for over a foot that now comes in daily to feed. Great…

They used to be good but now they're burned out

I've bought these crickets a few times for my box turtles and it's been quite a hit or miss. The first couple were great, the crickets were big and whole and there weren't many broken pieces. However, the last 3 or 4 bottles were not of very good quality. The crickets were small and looked almost burnt. My turtles don't seem to eat them anymore, which I think is crazy because crickets were their favorite food. I don't know what happened because a year ago the quality was great. This photo was…

Always what I get when not live.

Those who have leopard geckos, I'm sure you know how difficult it is to get them to eat anything other than live food. My geckos were like this until I left them a bowl of this and they didn't eat for about a day, but that's ok, it might take a while, just be patient. I promise your geckos will choose to eat from the bowl before they starve. Just don't give up and just leave them with water and a bowl and pretty soon nature will be doing her thing! My choice especially for long trips, a large…

My reptiles and fish love them.

I first bought these crickets to feed my bearded dragon when my local pet store ran out of live crickets. However, after two annual vet check-ups, it was found that my dragon had pinworms and I decided to use dried crickets as my main protein source. I asked the vet what he thought of dried crickets and he said they were fine "as long as he ate them". I spray them with water to keep the lizard hydrated because, like many bearded dragons, it doesn't know what to do with standing water and gets…
