No, it won't stick to my tent

Easy to remove? They say this stuff doesn't stick, used it on my tent which has a few holes and a scratch, it doesn't stick and the ones that did stick only stuck for 3 minutes, thing doesn't work.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • A few bits and pieces

Roll of Gorilla Tape Adhesive to Self

Advertised roll to withstand extreme temperatures. However, the resulting roll stuck to itself and we couldn't even take it apart. Maybe it was just a bad throw. We would like to receive compensation for this purchase.

Pros
  • Hands Free Operation
Cons
  • Negative Gift

Works great even in hot and humid conditions

I taped my screen to a plaster wall while having evening movie screenings on the porch. I've also used it to hold my storage boxes together. I've also used it for many other things. Even in the heat and humidity of Southwest Florida, it works great!

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • No performance

Won't stick to cold or moisture

I bought this to attach the wire to the house but when I wrapped it around my dog's leg to put the bag over her bandaged neck the wet/cold made it Frost immediately detaches the tape from baggy! Amazing instantly! So I'm not sure what to use this for if the cold or humidity causes it to completely detach from what it was glued to.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Expensive

The dark glue on the tape will melt. bad

The tape is a little finicky about the surface it is applied to and not quite as 'all weather outdoors' as I thought. Update June 2020: I now have to change my rating to 1 star. The tape does not cope with even the simplest work. The glue melts (see my photo). Two weeks ago I used duct tape on some garbage bags indoors to tape lightweight plastic bags to metal pipes so I could catch falling dust. And today. Garbage bags fell off due to the melting of the glue on the tape. I live in Chicago and…

  • Everything is fine!

Disappointed

We bought this tape for its outdoor waterproofing but it didn't disappoint. We purchased a sun cover for our pool but the longest cover available was 40ft and we have a 50ft pool. We were able to cut 10 feet from the side and wanted to attach it to the end. The Gorilla All Weather Tape only lasted a few days before it began to fall apart. Next year I will be buying a more expensive brand of Flex Seal/Flex Tape.

Pros
  • Made with incredibly strong, durable butyl adhesive and a weatherproof sleeve, this tape will stand up to even the most extreme weather conditions
Cons
  • I'll add it later

Not waterproof!

This is good tape. It would be more than 1 star if they didn't specifically market it as outdoor/waterproof tape. No, that is not so. It's no better than their regular duct tape which I use a few rolls a week. So if you are not looking for real waterproof tape this is more than a Star tape but you can also buy the cheaper tape as it is really good tape for less money. If you need really waterproof tape, the only tape I've found really waterproof is 3M #393 tape. I'm still hoping I can find one…

Pros
  • Gorilla All Weather Waterproof Tape can be used on tarps, roofs, plastic tarps, air vents, RVs, cars and more
Cons
  • Crumpled

EVERYONE should have a roll in the house

I love Gorilla Tape. It's so strong. Since I used it to tape up some windows that were bad and leaking, I have rolls of tape all over the house for other uses that require something as strong as this tape. I have used this on windows where the glazing was poor and water was entering the house and it protected them for 8 months before I could replace the windows and it would not let water through. I wasn't worried about the sticky rubber ruining the windows because I replaced them. They were…
