Easy to install; really strong

On the left side of this picture is an 8ft wide fence panel that I sanded/painted/treated for wall decoration. I didn't want to screw it to the wall so I used these Hangman mounts. I used 12 inch wide planks, one at each end of the board. Very easy to install yourself. I was so impressed with the drywall screws that I used them to attach a shelf in my dining room (not shown here).

Pros
  • Shipping was very quick
Cons
  • No

Amazing product! fits picture hanger

Thing is a champ! I was nervous about ordering this online without physically seeing the quality. We had about 90 pounds. a barn door that we wanted to hang in our living room. With young children it was quite nerve wracking. If it breaks, it will fall and someone could be seriously injured. Let me tell you I was IMPRESSED! This door isn't moving anywhere and my fears are fading. Excellent quality product, I recommend!

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Not sure

The mirror keeps falling

1. Use your own spirit level. The one that comes with this off.2. It's not a heavy piece of metal. I would be afraid to hang something 100 pounds on it. I hung a 45lb mirror and it fell twice. Damaged walls, mirror frames and baseboard. I was trying to gently wipe it to clean the mirror when it fell off.3. The instructions say to hang through drywall. If you have something heavy I would use a different screw and find a bolt to center it.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Useless features

Light to Medium Dty

I wouldn't call this suspension a high performance suspension. I rate it as easy to medium. The design resembles a French wooden boot with two 45 degree angles interlocking. The difference is that the wooden version is much stronger. If you have small projects, a coat hanger will do. It's easy to assemble and has the hardware needed for a proper installation. It also has a small spirit level that fits (and can be left in) the wall mount. It was a good idea.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Some issues

Unusual hole pattern for bracket

I was surprised that there were only 3 screws per bracket. The included ratchet screws only fit specific holes in the wall mount. The bracket has an unusual hole pattern and no real center hole. Luckily I have a supply of wall screws so I was able to mount the bracket the way I wanted using 4 screws evenly spaced, 2 on each side of the center of the bracket and one on each end of the bracket. The product works great and I would buy it again.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Obsolete

Sturdy, looks good, easy to assemble.

I hung a fairly large mirror over my dressing table and it looks great. Level to the wall, not visible. Installed with a problem - to align, but it was not difficult. It's helpful to have an extra pair of hands when putting it on the mounts if your object is big, bulky or heavy. I've used the mount on both the top and bottom. I bought the shorter ones because I used two and then they matched the edges of the frame well so they weren't visible from either side. I will buy them again for the twoโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes

Light, fast, strong - the best picture and mirror hangar

I had to hang a 25 pound bathroom mirror on drywall. I used to use heavy hooks to hang pictures, but over time they become a problem. Drywall will begin to crumble under the hanger, and the nail may buckle. This Hangman kit was awesome. Drilling is not required. The screws that attach the bar to the picture/mirror frame are self-tapping and will hold the bar firmly to the frame. And the new (to me) Walldog screws for attaching another plank to the wall are fantastic. Even a small spirit levelโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
