Wrong stated outer diameter

I bought an 8-36 die. It was advertised as 13/16" OD, so I bought a die holder to go with it. However, it is 1 inch in diameter. Now I have to buy another die holder to use it.

Pros
  • Dimensional calibration
Cons
  • Very expensive

Very good die for size and price

Very good die for size and price. The lead-in threads are well clean to facilitate bearing start. The adjustment screw is ideal for working with the size needed for a stock that leans a bit or needs a tighter fit.

Pros
  • Control, measurement and inspection
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Garbage - do not buy!

The product does not match the picture but is absolute junk. This is the quality you would expect from a $30 60 piece Harbor Freight set. I have several different sizes and they are all made the same way. The thread does NOT go all the way through, it looks like it's about half broken at the back (it's very rough, not milled). This matrix costs no more than 75 cents, certainly nowhere near the $8 I paid! These return. I knew I wouldn't get excellent quality for an $8 Matrix, but I expected at…

Pros
  • Measuring blocks
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
