Knitters Pride Signature Mega Winder Review

Well made, very quiet winder. It was possible to wind 13 strands in the time it takes to make one by hand. My youngest son was with me when I installed it. He's a machinist. He took over quite a bit and was satisfied with the quality. Also definitely. One twist per second was the optimal speed for wrapping 😀 Very nice and smooth.

This item is beautiful and looks well made. I can't figure out if there is a learning curve or if I'm using it incorrectly. I used this as an upgrade when my KnitPicks plastic winder gave up the ghost after a year. First, my complaint about this model is that one anchor is not enough to stabilize the base. happened to someone else. The "dyed" version of this signature yarn winder is more expensive than the natural version. I liked the look of the painted version and really wanted it so I was willing to pay more. The one that arrived was the unpainted version of the Natural. I don't live in a place where it's easy to go back and get a new one or I would. Again, this is not a review of the subject itself.
