I was VERY skeptical and wanted to try these - they WILL NOT work with Irvine water which is already high quality water. My TIME is worth more than it's worth deleting and sending back for a refund. I really liked that I didn't have to pay that much. The magnets are not well attached to the main frame and I expect they will just fall off over time.

I was skeptical but decided to try this for the scale and water hardness scale that is so common in southern Missouri. It works wonders. The water tastes better, the showerhead flows better, I don't have limescale on the outside of my pitchers and my washing machine works much better. We strongly encourage you to try this one-time solution before installing a water softener that requires chemicals and salt.

Received and installed 13 days ago. my bathtub and toilets were yellow due to rust in the water (today 28th december 2015) just cleaned them with blue bathroom cleaner and bleach they are brilliant white. I'll wait for this magnetic water softener to work and see if it helps keep my bathroom and toilets clean.
