Nautica Akeley Tan Canvas Sneakers: Stylish and Casual Boys' Shoes Review

In less than a month of wearing socks, the toes started peeling off the sole. For the record, my child is homeschooled and usually walks around the house barefoot, so it wasn't much of a strain. By the time he started wearing them and the problem surfaced, the return window had expired. Either they are badly made or we have fakes.

These shoes were so comfortable, but after using them as my main shoe for just a week, the glue on the side that holds the sole together started to separate from the canvas and fall apart. Very disappointed.

My son had these shoes for 2 months. He wore them twice a week. They fell apart completely in the front. Absolute rubbish and waste of money. From my back window. Try to glue them together with Crazy 🤦🏻‍♀️

Shoes fall apart after a month of wear. The shoes looked beautiful but I didn't expect the soul to fall apart. Very disappointed and now I'm seeing similar reviews with the same issue.

They are great and fit as expected. They are comfortable for my son but look stylish and go with many outfits. This is definitely a winner.

My son really liked these shoes and they were stylish slippers. He had them for a month and a half and they were already falling apart. The canvas materials are separated from the sole of the shoe. He's frustrated and wants another pair, but I can't justify spending money on another pair when that's going to happen.

I returned these. At first I think they were a bit small but I'm not sure because my baby feet are growing. They look cute online but they look really cheap in person and I definitely wouldn't buy this faux leather style again.

My son loves shoes in this style. Unfortunately they fell apart like all the other reviews said. About 33 days later. Too bad. I emailed Nautica to let them know about the apparently faulty adhesive. After over a month they finally replied. I wanted a replacement but instead they offered me a refund of the purchase price. Better than nothing. Switched to Sperry moccasins after years of loyalty to Nautica. I hope they solve your problem.

I can't believe what I did! I read reviews that it's rubbish. However, since my son has very light feet and never wears out his shoes, but rather outgrows them, I was wrong. After wearing them multiple times a week for 3 weeks they are rubbish. I've had cheaper shoes that have held up better than this one. The worst is I got 3 pairs for 3 other kids! Don't save money even though it's very nice. Too bad they can't do it in a stronger version! (also goes a bit wide)

I bought these shoes for my two sons, 4 and 6 years old. In less than a week, the sole on a 4-year-old's running shoe became detached from the rest of the shoe. I was able to get my money back. His 6-year-old brother's shoes lasted 6 weeks, after which he came home from school with the soles in his backpack, in fact he walked barefoot all day. Too bad the quality is so bad otherwise they are beautiful, fit well and are comfortable.
