Description of Oil-Dri L90691 36-inch Width x 50-foot Length Poly-Backed Industrial Rug - 1 Roll/Box

Non-slip poly backing protects floors and work surfaces by absorbing fluids without allowing them to soak through. This highly durable rug is made of absorbent needle punched polypropylene to hold up to heavy traffic. Cuts easily to any shape for multiple purposes, including: floor mats, industrial absorbent, walk way runner, work bench liner, etc. Absorbs up to 10 gallons per roll.

Easy to cut in oils and liquids

Easy to cut. Stays in place most of the time. A little thinner than expected but should work. Luckily there hasn't been a spill or leak yet to test this out. I expect it to absorb most of everything.

Ground safety/oil protection

Industrial carpet does not stay in place. Hopefully the carpet will provide better protection for the garage/driveway floor from oil spills from my cars. I just have to wait and see.

Incredibly disappointed

does not work. The entire roll is designed to hold 10 gallons of liquid. Doesn't even take a cup. When a spot becomes saturated, it detaches from the mat instead of spreading to other parts. Incredibly disappointed

Effective as a hall runner

I bought it as a cheap runner for the main hall in the production hall at the office. For this use it is effective. At each door I keep a heavy duty travel mat with a 40 foot piece of this roll in between to protect the floor. It sheds a few fibers, but that's to be expected. I can't comment on its ability to absorb oil leaks or anything like that.

Good product - absorbs oil

Previously purchased Oil-Dri L90693, 3 x 5 foot mat of same product. Although he absorbed oil well, he moved too much. I received this product, cut it to a much longer length and spliced the two pieces together to make a 6ft by 9ft mat that is now absorbent and non-moving. Very happy with the purchase and the product.
