Playskool SmartSense Exclusive Recordable Stuffed Toy Review

It's cute and does what it says on the tin but my 2 year old who wakes up in the night doesn't care. I wish you could turn the volume down further.

I had the original Gloworm when I was little and loved it! I saw this and wanted to buy it for my son but it's awfully loud! Charming and so soft but I have to return it. :( very disappointed.

I gave Glo Worms to my 2 children and grandson when they were babies. It was a popular toy to cuddle with and keep them company at night. I really like this new model that will record a message or a song and play the music. Bought as a present for new parents.

My 2 year old daughter doesn't sleep without this firefly! The light and soothing song really has an effect on her. Apparently we have a baby monitor in her room and several times during the night I will move because I hear a soft lullaby - but you know what is NOT happening?! I like it! Helped my little one finally fall asleep for the first time. She carries her child everywhere. BUT it stopped working after 1 week. Now my baby won't sleep and cries more when his new toy won't turn on :( I can't return it because it's so attached. Any suggestions for a Hasbro/Playskool replacement? Strange thing. A setting plays music every time you press the button. It plays three songs and is very loud with no volume control. I can't let my daughter sleep with it because if she turns on it she activates it and wakes me and myself up through the baby monitor. He claims that he will also feel and activate the baby's cry. However, it will activate every time you speak loudly around it. The cry sensor can be switched off. Unfortunately there is no setting for light only without sound. You…

My daughter sleeps with it every night and it works wonders! So my daughter sleeps in a cot in her room, but she breastfed all night (every 2-4 hours) until she was 15 months old. So I got a little tired of getting up every time she made a noise to help her get back to sleep. I'm not saying this toy taught her to sleep because it didn't, but it made a huge difference.
