Poor quality and design

Hardware does not fit 2004 Jeep Wrangler. Jeep uses 12-24 threads. The mounting screws are also grounded. Bad design. The rear light only slides in one direction in the cage. So you need to terminate and separate the wires. Why? The instructions do not match the information. This is the quality you get from China. rusts out of the box.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Expensive

Strong and sturdy, with a very small flaw.

Great product, very well finished and the fittings are great. Minor downside: where the case flexes, the baseplate isn't quite aligned, leaving a small gap, but adding a rubber washer cut to size seems to fill that space. Otherwise I would expect road grime and salt to build up in this space.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Doubtful

This is NOT a direct match.

3 mounting holes exactly match the original holes in the light and housing, but the metal plate on the back of the guard is not flat. So if you try to install it in the factory holes it will hang out. Also, the screws included in the kit are self-tapping screws and do not match the threads of the original screws. To install them on our '03 TJ I had to move them to the corners of the tank due to the shape of the metal plate.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Not sure

A little disappointing.

I bought these to protect my rear lights from branches and other road debris in the bushes and I like the look too. The pair I received was well packaged but the safety stirrups were all slightly bent on both pieces. I'm not sure why. I was able to adjust and straighten them. They are quite heavy and it seems that they can withstand a strong blow and protect the light. The base plate is a bit too big and there is a small gap where the body bends in the light at the corner of the car. Although I

Rugged design for body armor

Just taken out of the box, one weld already rusted. Both parts were so badly chipped and scratched that I would have to repaint both. If they call it powder coating I'm LOL. Terrible packaging. You get what you pay for from CHINA in fit and finish. Best of all, they look very durable and protect well. *UPDATE, I installed them and as many people say the screws that come with it are too small in diameter to work. After all these years of making these railings, you'd think the manufacturer…
