I was concerned about the stickiness of the adhesive but the item came with 3M tape on the back. Make sure you clean the area well to ensure proper adhesion. I used a bit of dish soap to make sure there were no traces of wax on the contact area of the tape. As you can see from the photos they look great on my jeep.

This product was bought as a cheap fix for a standard jeep. I liked this product because it differs from the tradplate style that everyone has. I give 4 1/2 stars. The product fits great, looks great, but the glue that was put on the product sucked. I recommend removing the factory glue and replacing it with a quality one, e.g. B. 3m or double sided gorilla tape.

This was the second set I have bought from Revain. I thought maybe the glue was bad on the first set. The glue was TERRIBLE in the second set as well. They were on the road (don't know when or where, I didn't notice until I got home) with air deflated after only two days of driving. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! You might as well flush your money down the toilet if you do this.

The shields themselves are fine, but one had to be filed from the back to keep it from rubbing against the paint. Glue, on the other hand, is hot junk. It was literally less than 24 hours before it flew down the street. After the restoration I peeled off the other one and reinstalled it with Gorilla brand double sided tape and everything has been fine ever since. I would recommend just going ahead and having something on hand and not worrying about what comes out of it.

Looks great on my faded Jeep hood and the way it tapers at the ends doesn't stick out too much to be noticeable be . The textured finish goes well with my aftermarket fenders. As with all sticky parts, I recommend 2 things: buy 3M sticky pads and additional 3M double-sided VHD tape (lots of experience) no matter how good they tell you it will stick. on site. Double-sided tape is no good. It is too thin to attach the panels to a moving vehicle. The panels flew off within 1/2 mile on the freeway at freeway speeds. Although I restored the panels, they are now compromised. I am very disappointed in this. The company selects low-quality glue that does not stick to the product. Love the look and easy installation. It fits with minimal protrusion which is great but the glue is absolutely $#%&! I lost the passenger side while going down the road at 80 km/h! And this after fresh washing, drying and air drying before placement. I knew I should have used my 3M mounting tape. The glue on this part was like sticky rubber band.
