worked very well and looked very good. I wore them for about a week driving 75mph on the freeway, then we got caught in heavy rain/gale force winds and one of them broke off and we never saw it again. use extra tape and you'll be fine.

Looks really great. They seem to stick really well. I cleaned them very well with rubbing alcohol and put the jeep out in the sunlight to keep them nice and warm so the tape would stick well. The texture also goes really well with my wings. Thumbs up!

I've had other jeeps and used them for everything. Unfortunately this is the second pair for my current Jeep. One of the other pairs fell out the other day so I had to order more. This time I used ACTIVE 3M tape. So do yourself a favor and remove the tape when you receive it, then use real 3M tape! Fit and finish are excellent. This is a cheap mod that looks great on jeeps.

First it is powder coated plastic. Has a 1/4 wide strip of double sided tape along the outside edge. Assuming nothing ever hits it, it should look fine. Will NEVER protect your jeep. So if you're one of those guys with a souped-up jeep with street tires that never gets out of the suburbs, that'll be awesome. For the rest it's just junk. Oh, and both of my were broken upon arrival.

Superb Jeep hood vest! It looks great on my Jeep Wrangler JK and looks great with my Commando Green/Black color scheme. Some people had trouble keeping it. I bought additional 3M tape for the outside mount from Amazon to make sure it would stick better and stay in place. Overall I'm very happy with this product and it's a great alternative to stainless steel hood armor that you have to drill into the hood.

Please note: these are not powder coated as the product name would suggest. I knew about it, but I wanted to say it. At first I was a bit skeptical about buying plastic hood armor. I have to say I was very impressed with them. I cleaned the hood very well with Windex and let it dry. I then placed them on the case with the double sided tape already applied. I wasn't expecting much and wasn't sure if they would stay. However, I placed them and used double sided tape to press them onto the entire area, about a minute or two on each side. You look great.
