AWOL Customer Service

The product installed without any problems and I can see flash drives on all my networked computers, but my portable hard drive is not recognized. I don't recommend this device if you want to share a portable hard drive over the network and certainly don't expect any help from the company.

Good performance, but cannot be used over the Internet

Pros: Configuration and client software are solid, consistent, and easy to understand. You really get product support by contacting Silex and someone who can answer technical questions. The device allows multiple computers on the local network to share one of our USB software dongles and also allows me to set up various things. Hardware Computers and communications equipment (Motorola XPR4550 radio, XPR/SLR repeaters, etc., except Hytera repeaters). Cons: I wanted to host some in remote offices
