    Says they are comfortable. But one day he put them on and they looked like this! I would not buy again. If your child is active and doesn't like shoes, don't buy them. I give them 2 stars for comfort and the idea is good.

    Gave my son terrible blisters.

    My son has terrible blisters. I was starting to think I bought a size too small, but I know it's not. He always complained that they were too tight to wear. I was hoping they would sell them widely but they don't. I really like the concept of these sneakers. They work really well for my 2 year old daughter. But this is a big disappointment. he has huge blisters/open sores on both legs, on both sides. :(

    I love these shoes! Cute, comfortable, versatile, easy to clean.

    Okay I can't give any information on fit as my 2 year old son (yes he has big feet) can't answer that question exactly. But I know this is the 4th pair I've bought (I have 2 kids) and I LOVE them! They're comfortable, versatile, easy to clean (machine wash!) and hold up very well. If Stride Rite is listening, make them either ALL BLACK or ALL WHITE and you'll sell a million of these uniform kids' sneakers. (I would buy at least 2 pairs myself.)

    Difficult to put on! in Baby

    They are comfortable to play in the water or on land and are affordable. But my husband and I couldn't put them on our baby. She has a wide foot, but they also don't open easily. Many toddler shoes open well to let the little foot in. It's not like this. They hold the exact shape of the shoe and don't move. Add to that the grippy stuff, and there was no way we could get her foot in without a fight. Even in socks. We ended up spending more on Keens and glad we did. MUCH convenient for normal…

    Pinched my little guy's legs.

    The shoes were very cute and the right length but irritated my son's feet. I took the advice of other reviewers and had him wear them around the house with socks to try and break them in, but on the first day he developed a small blister on the top of his foot near the arch of his foot. The second time he carried them in a stroller and carrier with socks, they rubbed the backs of his feet red behind the ankle. I think his feet are too big for those shoes to be comfortable to sit on.     Expensive for rebellious kids but ok

    Upgrade: 3 to 5 stars. These shoes are workhorses. They broke in and lasted all summer. Now they're dirty but hardly worn - and they're rude boys. Will buy again next summer. Undoubtedly worth the price. Sandals and tennis shoes are terrible summer shoes for kids for many reasons. This is the perfect compromise. Original rating: Good fit. My kids are half a size smaller but fit well. You look good. Both children say they are in pain. I hope it gets better - break time. I suspect the reviews are

    For kids who are picky about shoes, this is the best solution that lasts all summer!

    I love these shoes. I like that even when they are dirty I take a cleaning brush to them and they look like new again. I like that she can splash in puddles and that's okay. The ONLY negative is that her feet are usually dirty after she takes them off. but they're always dirty anyway so I'd rather let them wash/dry their feet in the tub every night and I still have a pair of shoes that look decent at the same time! They have held up beautifully all summer and fall. no calluses to complain, this

    Essential shoes for babies! I love how they can get dirty and are so easy to clean. It is very nice that they are also water shoes! My daughter is between 8 and 9 and 9 is good for a small room. I want them to do half sizes. The opening is a bit narrow, which is a bit annoying. If your child is between sizes I would suggest going up to the next larger size.     In the break time it is difficult to do without outside help.

    These shoes are really great, with a few exceptions. Out of the box, the sides of the shoe where they meet the tongue curled up slightly just from being in the box. It took several hours of wearing to get them into a more correct shape. (And I was often urged at my party to have my daughter with me long enough for her to "break in"). After wearing them for a few hours she said they were very comfortable. She had some trouble putting them on herself because the heel of the shoe has this mesh on…
