Tripp Lite P776 010 Cable Switches Review

This is a cable. does the job. Well done. Never had a single outage (I use 12 servers with a 16 position KVM switch. The computer room can get quite hot, while conditions in a non-high traffic area can be a little "warm", putting a strain on cables and the like can.) They seem to be well shielded, lots of RF and other electrical activity, never had a problem with cables picking up anything.

Two stars from Tripp Lite for deliberately using the wrong gender connectors on their KVMs to force you to buy expensive proprietary VGA cables.

Use these cables for my computer repair shop and I've had two of them fail after a few months. Cables are fragile and if pulled or twisted they will display a distorted image with a pink or blue overlay.

The product worked as advertised but I have found that regular cords work well with the switch working intermittently. I cannot wholeheartedly recommend this product given the price, especially if you have universal cables handy.
