Excellent pens. in Pins

Drilled holes in existing hardware to fit a little loose, making installation easier if the hardware is not perfectly aligned.

Pros
  • Several Competitors
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

1/4 " pins require a slightly larger hole than 1/4 "

Replaced screw type on my bimini top. The 1/4" pins were slightly larger than the existing holes, but I was able to drill a 9/32 hole and the pins work great. Much better than screw type.

Pros
  • Sample for a year
Cons
  • I'll post later

Working length is not 1 inch

Came here to say this really does NOT have a 1 inch working length! Like normal quality, tight. I made it work by slightly drilling out the fasteners and removing the spring from the pins. Time/sea water will tell if they are of good quality or not!

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • High price

These pins leak and are difficult to lock in place

These pins are decent quality but they are not long enough to go all the way through the mounts and are very difficult to lock in as they are only about 2 millimeters. in short, at least from my boat, which is a 26 foot Bayliner cruiser.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • No

These pins leak and are difficult to snap into place

These puns are decent quality but they are not long enough to go all the way through the bindings and are very difficult to pin because they are only 2mm shorter, at least compared to my boat, the a is 26 foot cruiser Bayliner.

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Expensive

Ok but the size doesn't meet my needs

Wanted a quick connector for my boat's canopy. I thought they were a one size fits all. They were too big to fit through the holes in the boat's connectors. Not economical to return so I threw it in the trash and still have to use the screws that came with the top.

Pros
  • Big price
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Okay, we need a rehearsal.

My hands are fine and I'm lucky enough to have a grinder handy. While this product was almost identical to the ones on my dad's swing clasp, the oval piece on the swing clasp was just a hair too long to twist (once through a hole) and snap into place, but was off by about a millimeter (or maybe part one unit) I was able to get it to work with no problems.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Will write later
