If, like me, you expect the dowels to be in the container shown in the picture, you're in for an unpleasant surprise be, as it is not in the container is not included. Mine were placed in a zipped bag, I wasn't even sure if the 300 was listed in the bag as I hadn't counted them.

Pros
  • ECONO SIZES
Cons
  • Discontinued

They work and you couldn't ask for much more. .

They work and you couldn't ask for more. The only caveat I'll make is that they really are 1 inch long compared to 1 1/8 inches of many other dowels I've used like the Grizzly. That's not a problem at all, but it's also something to be aware of when switching brands, as I did in the middle of a project. I ended up having to drill a few holes a little deeper before I figured it out.

Pros
  • TAPERED END - Slight bevel on each end makes the EZ fit
Cons
  • I will add later

Inexpensive and reliable

Bought another jug when building my grandfather's crib as there were four per side rails and also used as indexing for the side rails. It's DEFINITELY easier and cheaper (including labor) than cutting lots of 1" dowels from round dowels. Sometimes it's easier to let the machines do it for you. Everything was nice and consistent, straight, and the rounded ends made it easy to fit into parts. I thought the price was good.

Pros
  • EASY STORAGE - Supplied in a handy resealable box
Cons
  • Other interesting options are available.
