  • Transaction fees on Bittrex amount to 0.25%. These fees are rather attractive, but remain less competitive than on Binance or Poloniex.
  • Located in the USA, Bittrex has an excellent reputation for the reliability and security of its platform. It obviously offers 2-factor authentication with Google Authenticator, an essential security to avoid hacking your account.
Cons
  • The interface is a bit rough and lacks modernity. For a novice, getting to grips with the site completely can take a little time.

The high volume exchange

Bittrex is a well-known old exchange, I have used their service for 3 years. The delisted altcoins are pumped at least 3 days before the announcement about the delisted coin list. The support team solved my problem after 4 hours I created the new support ticket.

Secure Secure Secure

I have been using bittrex. I believe it is the most secure one in the market. However did bot list holochain. So I searched an alternative for holochain (hot) trading. Then I found out abcc is a good platform for "hot" trading. It was good. But only for hot/eth trading. when binance listed holochain I created an account in binance and then started to use binance .

  • Good UX/UI - this "simple" thing really attracts us to continue using in this platform
  • Convinient platform that supports fiat money easily - you can deposit USD, convert it to crypto and it can be done in the opposite way - convert cryptocurrencies to fiat money and withdraw it to your credit card or your bank account.
  • Most of the time - the support team answers patiently to our problems and very quickly.
Cons
  • Bittrex didn't made a mobile application yet (Android and IOS either) - this is something important in our needs.
  • Unfortunately, the convertion fees on Bittrex platform are pretty high.

  • Bittrex is one of the safest to trade, it has a security system where it detects if your login is from a different ip to the one you commonly enter, and asks you to approve that ip address to start session, that security system is very good as it protects you from a possible hack

  • The minimum trade commissions seem a little high, another thing is that they have fallen in the ranking of coimarketcap were better located before and they are already only among the best 50 exchange in the market, this is not a good sign and therefore the volume of handling in the exchange decreases.

Do not use avoid holding any balance in Bittrex. The support is not replying to emails. Everything requires improvement. Registration requires the need to provide proof ID and address and does not support other languages. Support can be poor with regards to problems. High withdrawal fees like other platforms. Be aware and stay away. Problems with withdrawals.

  • A US-based cryptocurrency exchange. A plus for me. It has state-of-the-art security wherein they have been never hacked ever before. What I liked about Bittrex is they make sure that liquid coins are being traded in the exchange for a healthier ecosystem of coins.
Cons
  • The support is not replying to emails and the first deposit before did not come in because of a requirement. I guess they should have wallets that are pre-funded so that there would be no more hassle when it comes to adding a new fund on a wallet. Bittrex is not that quite good at marketing their platform.

This exchange offers users hundreds of cryptocurrency trading pairs in Bitcoin, Ethereum, and USDT. Currently Bittrex does not offer fiat trading pairs (pairs that include USD, EUR, GBP, Etc). They do, however, allow some users to buy Bitcoin, Ethereum, or USDT via bank wire transfer. In order to use their wire transfer purchase options, you must have an “enhanced verified” account and purchase an amount worth $10,000 or greater.

  • Very user-friendly, fast and safe. Never hacked before. Many altcoins can be found at Bittrex.
Cons
  • High fees: the commission is 0.25% per trade Only Bitcoin and Ethereum markets are available. This means: you can not trade altcoins directly against euros or dollars. You will first have to buy bitcoin on, for example, Bitvavo. The bitcoins can then be sent to Bittrex, after which you can buy altcoins with these btc's.
