An interesting exchange gone Offline 😥😥
Among the list of new exchanges that came and went between the time period of 2017 and 2020 is the chainrift exchange. this exchange in its early days of being operational had what many traders always had envisioned of in any exchange platform as it provided a cutting-edge 0 trading fees to its makers and a little percentage of fees are being charged against the takers. also the withdrawal fees was negligible and it seem to be very reasonable and was actually below the market average of 0.0005 bitcoins as at that time. Plus, the interface was breathtaking.
Starting in 2018 and shutting its website down in 2020, chainrift notified all of its traders that it was about going offline and gave an ample amount of time to them so as to withdraw their funds and make the exchange not look at an exit scam. this really puts the reliability and assurance this exchange gave when it first came out in 2018. it is very sad that this exchange platform has put its services to an end but we hope for resuscitation
Pros
- In the early days of this exchange, the fees associated with both the trading and the withdrawal was very reasonable
- Before the time when the exchange closed, it allowed its users to withdraw their funds
Cons
- The exchange has closed down and its services are not being provided anymore
- The exchange did not stay up for long as it took only two years for it to stop it's services
