In summary I highly recommend the Exchange Poloniex, the only thing I complain about is the support issue but the rest I think everything is fine, although lately I have read complaints about the registration but in my case when I registered there was no problem, also sometimes I read that many people lost the coins they had in their balance sheets but this never happened to me because of what is perhaps a lie, many people like to discredit good projects.

Pros
  • I have been using Poloniex since my first days in the world of cryptocurrencies and I have always been happy for how easy the platform is, it is a very friendly interface and has listed the most important currencies in the market.
Cons
  • I think that the support issue is something that Poloniex should work on more, once it makes a complaint and it took many days to be answered and this is not very good for an important Exchange.

  • Poloniex also have disadvantage .It is require some unnessary proof. To using Poloniex is that there are still questions regarding their security. This is beccause, the exchange experienced a huge hack, where other of their entire Bitcoin supply was stolen.

A very nice plataform. Great charts, lot of history and a big coin list. one of my most used crypto exchanges and will continue to be a user of this great platform. Also very easy to get reports and see you trading status. To bad there is no fiat currencies at all. This will make use it more.

Poloniex is certainly not for beginners. You need to already have…

Poloniex is certainly not for beginners. You need to already have cryptocurrency to start trading on Poloniex. However Poloniex is a industry leader in altcoin trading, many coins not available on major exchanges can be traded on Poloniex. Poloniex very often is DDOS’ed during peak trading hours, and customer support is not very responsive. It is only advised for experienced traders who don’t mind slow performance of the platform and customer support.

  • 1. many altcoins tradable (there is so many trade able coin in poloniex and its really good) 2. margin trading altcoins (i like the margin trading because it easy to acces) 3. high liquidity (high liquidity is a good thing for many traders in the world)
Cons
  • 1. tends to load slowly compared to others (if we compared with another exchanger it is so true) 2. no advanced order types (there is no advance order types on this exchanger) 3. pump and dump culture (very very bad culture on this exchanger) 4. poor support (need more supporting with another company) 5. has been hacked in 2014 (really bad reality)

A large exchange with a large volume of trading and a good choice of cryptocurrencies ( at least from the top 20), which is convenient to work with, which is easy to register (not always) which has a clear and friendly interface, but a lot of spoils the past security problems and quite high fees, as well as the lack of trading opportunities with negative Commission.

Pros
  • A large selection of crypto assets, a long history that confirms the reliability, high speed, relative security, low entry limits, accessible interface for beginners, detailed instructions on how to work.
Cons
  • High commissions, lack of margin trading, inability to place stop orders and take profit, there is no possibility of a moving order, security problems in the history, periodic interruptions in work with certain assets, the probability of the influence of the state of registration and the owners of the exchange, participation in the manipulation of the price of crypto assets.

  • EASY TO NAVIGATE USER INTERFACE. TRUSTED AND STOOD THE TEST OF TIME. HAVE GOOD LEGIT COINS .

  • DO NOT EASILY LIST NEW COINS. ORDINARY WITHOUT VERIFICATION SHOULD HAVE A REASONABLE WITHDRAWAL LIMIT.

Cons
  • But I believe you have to greatly improve your support because a little while ago there was a problem of freezing accounts and it took me a long time to unlock by support delay, so the tip is to improve customer support.
