Poloniex is certainly not for beginners. You need to already have cryptocurrency to start trading on Poloniex. However Poloniex is a industry leader in altcoin trading, many coins not available on major exchanges can be traded on Poloniex. Poloniex very often is DDOS’ed during peak trading hours, and customer support is not very responsive. It is only advised for experienced traders who don’t mind slow performance of the platform and customer support.
Pros
- 1. many altcoins tradable (there is so many trade able coin in poloniex and its really good) 2. margin trading altcoins (i like the margin trading because it easy to acces) 3. high liquidity (high liquidity is a good thing for many traders in the world)
Cons
- 1. tends to load slowly compared to others (if we compared with another exchanger it is so true) 2. no advanced order types (there is no advance order types on this exchanger) 3. pump and dump culture (very very bad culture on this exchanger) 4. poor support (need more supporting with another company) 5. has been hacked in 2014 (really bad reality)
