The electrical switch is not connected.

Parts worked after I redid the switch socket. I'm an engineer and a certified mechanic, most people couldn't do this job without lots of tools!

Sent back because the electrical connector didn't match the cable in the truck

After this was returned I found out you need to change the braid in the door. It would be nice to know this when the part was purchased and have it available or included with the lock.

The latch is OK, the sensor on it is not OK.

Looks great and comes with lube, all you have to do is install it. I bought these because they are the best price I could find. And they fit my 2001 Ford Ranger snugly. The sensors were universal, if the truck wasn't reading properly we had to buy another sensor to fit the latch, but the sensor on it is cheap, made in China.
