Nissan Rear Window Regulator Permanent Repair

Repaired a broken plastic part on the rear driver's side power window. Used blue loctite and I no longer have to worry about the window falling off again. Now I have to get another one for my passenger side before it breaks.

Window Slider Repair Nissan Sentra

The slider helped reattach the adjuster to the glass guide but it wasn't easy to fix the first time. It is best to take the glass out of the guide and attach it to the door. Then install the slider. The screws are very small and can easily get lost. Much luck!

  • GOLS Certified

It fits perfectly and will last forever

What I love is that it's made of metal which will last a lifetime replacing the crappy cheap plastic that Nossan has been using for years. There's no excuse for Nissan to keep using cheap plastic when excellent substitutes exist. That's easy. Just follow the instructions and you'll be done forever.

  • Durable finish

perfect fit for 2006 Nissan Sentra rear window slider

As I looked at the broken plastic slider I wished someone could find a way to fix this broken slider. This company did it! Perfect technique and perfect fit. It's a bit pricey for these tiny parts, but it's worth buying considering the amount of time and effort that went into making this tiny piece of engineering.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Big and bulky

It made the job so easy!

Used to repair a broken rear power window on my 2006 Sentra S. I spent a lot of time inventing my own workaround, but in the end I decided to bite the bullet and pay up, which admittedly seemed like too much. a lot for a small piece of aluminum. Well I was wrong - it's worth every penny! Beautifully made and if you follow the instructions from BlendDoor's YouTube video, it's reliable!

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Compatibility

Cheaper than replacing the governor assembly

Installation can be a bit tricky due to the corners and the need to grind down the stamped metal that acts as the end stop on the original slider. This wasn't really a problem with the recovery kit, but it did make installation difficult. The only other part that I took off a star for was tightening and loosening the part while manipulating it until I felt the slider on the adjustment lever ball would rotate. I just felt like it was too tight until I did it for about ten minutes. Overall I wasโ€ฆ

Good product good for window regulators and motors

After reading reviews of plastic replacement sliders that sometimes break I decided on this aluminum version. The indentation at the end of the rail makes installation difficult, but I was able to work around this by using a punch and leveling the indentation. This made it possible to remove the defective clip and install a new one. To fix the hole I used a small bushing where the hole was supposed to support the rail followed by a couple of blunt nose punches. Quite easy. Nissan used lithiumโ€ฆ
