Maybe I misunderstood the description. I expected to be able to use a mirror. I don't want to use a base. I'd love to be able to just peel and stick, but the mirror isn't flat so that won't work. I don't want to use a base because it will stick out and possibly come loose.

They stick well to my Jeep. It's curved glass, so the back isn't flat at all. It sits on a plastic mount so you can adjust it, but I think I'd probably be happier if I used thick double-sided tape to just stick it to my mirrors. The setting is always lost if someone touches it or washes the mirror.

Looks good but is inefficient. The curvature is too great for a flush mount, but not enough to significantly change the field of view. Mounting it on a swivel base improved visibility but looked terrible. Due to the swivel base, the additional mirror protrudes too far from the vehicle mirror. Not even worth the hassle of sending it back.

I got them because my previous car, the Ford Taurus, had blind spot mirrors in the side mirrors and I missed the benefit of that . They work great on my 2012 Acura MDX. You'll never have to turn your head back to look for traffic again. I've used them at the car wash a few times and they haven't fallen off like other reviewers have said before. I recommend turning all side mirrors towards the car as far as possible in the car wash and they should be fine.

This mirror attaches to the lower inside corner of a Honda CR-V driver's side mirror and completely eliminates the blind spot. But be careful: this is a convex mirror, the objects are smaller and the image size increases dramatically as they get closer - you really can't tell the distance easily. Many of these blind spot mirrors are very cheap and the reflective material is plastic! FYI: These are REAL GLASS mirrors. Quality at the highest level. (I suppose you'll get glass too, but who knows.) Either way, it's VERY nice if you're used to using blind-spot mirrors. If you've never used them before, it will take some time to get used to. Over the years I have bought them 6 times for 6 different cars. They couldn't be better, they're easy to set up and position, they never loosen enough to spin on their own or fall over (even at 110+F), and they give you a great view of your blind spot. no shriveled, tiny look like some fully round mirrors I've seen.
