Useless junk is good for electric knives

I only clean a few fish a year so I figured this knife would do the trick. It's amazing how little power it has. Once you start slicing the meat it will get totally stuck and you will forget to cut the bones. I would not recommend this knife to anyone no matter how small the job. Just so you know I don't mind this brand my brother has a Rapala electric knife which costs more and is great. Doesn't lose power or stall. He used mine yesterday and couldn't believe how useless it was. To be clear…

Great for very limited use

When I received my knife I had to return it due to a bad battery. I subsequently bought another similar knife and yes I like this knife for limited use. Before the battery runs out, he kills about 20 fish. i like the knife It should have an extra battery and a spare set of blades. My knife doesn't run on a single power cord yet, but I'm still getting to know the knife. In terms of value for money I would recommend a direct fed knife as it doesn't have enough horsepower for the long haul. dead…

Works like any other.

The knife works, two blades feel nice, especially when cleaning small fish. I have yet to find an electric fillet knife that seems to handle large quantities of fish and this one has some nice features but falls short. 1. Ergonomic handle and sharp blades are definitely a plus 2. "Cigarette" nozzle is excellent3. Good tote bag, although the amount of foam makes repacking a bit difficult4. Soon I had a short in the cable, I was able to replace the end and it worked.5. Part of the motor mount is…

Don't buy this. in Cutlery & Knife Accessories

If I could have this zero star knife I would. Everything started badly. I bought a knife, received it, it does not turn off. I couldn't stop the blade from moving. I sent it back and got a replacement. This was normal the first few times I cleaned fish. I've probably used this knife ten times. Each time it got worse and worse, and it didn't start out so well. I've used my friend's American Angler PRO with a Shark blade and it's amazing. I'll replace it with that. He's handsome, looks well…
