I've been using it for several years and no problems.

Status August 2019, very good product, still in use for several years without problems. Still working fine as of September 19, 2020. Still watching my truck at night.

Pros
  • Image resolution 512 x 492 pixels
Cons
  • Interchangeable

Rugged little camera

Used since May 2011 as a webcam with software/hardware with RCA input on Linux. Clear image, especially at 940nm infrared. but seems to dissipate said heat well.

Pros
  • Light sensitivity allows the camera to capture images at a minimum illumination of 0.1 lux
Cons
  • Empty

That was then, this is now.

Of the several security cameras I have installed around my house, one is Clover B/W and the other three are other brands. During the day they all work great, but at night Clover is the only one who can still "see" while the others go blind. The 60 watt bulb on my motion sensor gives the Clover enough light to send a crisp and clear image to my dashcam. One of my other cameras got splattered for one night, so I now have a shamrock that "protects" this other camera from its hidden location during

Pros
  • 0.33 inch B/W CCD sensor
Cons
  • Operating speed
