It's NOT quiet, it's loud, loudest and loudest

Someone in a review said this fan was quiet on the lowest setting. It's NOT, it's LOUD, then the wind speed is high and it's a waste of time. What happened to low, medium and high fan speeds? It is the supreme, supreme and supreme. It's not good if you want silence. I wish I could just pay more for a multi-speed model that is actually QUIET. It's not like this. By the way, the return will cost you more than you paid for it. Do not worry.

The fan really stinks, literally.

The fan has a weak motor, does not outshine my general store (Kingsoopers) box fan. Boxing fans don't have to be "quiet". drowns out the TV in the living room and everything else. A good box fan moves the air really well and makes great white noise, white noise helps me sleep. When this fan was on it started to stink in my room, it was a greasy burning horsefly smell, I thought it would go away but it didn't, I got sick late at night, had to get up and turn it off. This fan needs to be pulled…

Came with the smell of cigarette smoke. Runs on minimum settings

So I didn't expect to get a fan. When I opened the box, all I could smell was cigarette smoke. I put a fan in the room and turned it on and the smell stayed! It fills the room. I hope it wears off in a day or two but this is just awful. Another odd performance is that the fan starts up at the lowest setting, which I don't think you should do as there might not be enough current to run the fan. the blades are moving. Rarely and unlikely, fans always start at maximum power for some reason. If the

Fills the room with noxious noxious chemical fumes!

We had high hopes for this fan based on the reviews. It was a lot heavier than our other boxing fans so we thought it was high quality but it turned out to be the opposite! This fan filled the room with noxious noxious chemical fumes! I couldn't believe it! Even after leaving it on in the bathroom for hours it still did, I couldn't believe I was exposing my family to this horrible toxic Chinese made crap. Instead of wasting all the money and time and poisoning us and our country, why can't…

Electric Burn Smell

I bought 3 of these fans to use with Merv 13 20x20 filters. I have a 20" Lasko and it works great. The first fan I got I plugged it in and it smelled like a blender running too long. Coils/electronics must have some kind of activation or protective coating. It is awful. I figured I should run these fans outside for a few days to see if the smell would eventually go away. It's been a week and the slight smell is still there. These fans cannot be used indoors, especially in the bedroom the smell…
