The hot water side tastes like coffee.

I bought this coffee maker hoping to make coffee and tea at the same time, but the tea tastes like coffee. Everything we used the hot water dispenser for tasted coffee, even if the coffee side wasn't used.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons

Excellent multifunctional coffee machine

Easy to program, makes an honest cup of HOT coffee. In contrast to some other coffee machines, the number of cups marked on the carafe corresponds to the number of cups prepared. The separate hot water dispenser is perfect for preparing hot tea, cocoa, oatmeal or just to warm up a cup. We've found that Cuisinart products are generally worth the few extra bucks they charge, and they're built to last.

Unwanted $100 loss

This product has many problems. poured 7 times. If the basket is out of place, there is a big mess. It seems right, but it isn't. Incredibly difficult to clean. If you are not a fully disciplined person, don't take this. Because if you make a mistake the first time, don't get it right, you don't have a free hand. cleaning times. The pot should only be down in a very specific position. If you got it right, double checked, no, you'll end up with a mess. I can't return it, so I'm throwing it away.

Easily fragile cheap plastic

UPDATE November 27, 2021: While washing the plastic filter holder it fell about 30cm into the sink and a piece of plastic broke off. The filter holder didn't fit the machine as tightly as before and now the water doesn't get from the filter into the glass jar causing water and ground jet to flood the coffee maker, counter and floor. In my original review I commented "I deducted 1* for cheap materials which makes me wonder how long this will last". Now I know how long it took - 8 months. I NO…

The keep warm/hot function is very short. Uses a cone-shaped filter.

This coffee maker works well and the separate hot water tank is great for brewing individual cups of tea, instant coffee or even pasta. However, the main disadvantage of the product is the fact that the keep warm time is not adjustable and is very short, only 2 or 3 hours and there is no reheat button/function. The only other issue with the product is that it uses cone-shaped filters (and a strainer basket) instead of the more traditional (and common) flat filters, so I had to ditch the filters

  • Good but not great

Stop after two weeks of use

I have several Cuisinart products. I love the quality and performance of many Cuisinart devices. I bought this model for the presence of hot water. For the first week, I heard a clicking sound after the coffee was brewed. I asked a question about anxiety in the forum for this product. There was little response. This morning the brewing process just didn't start, although the hot water function still works. I went through the cycles of the return process. After running through the tires to…
