Great tool bag. A little on the too big side.

This thing is huge. In a way, this is the worst. I downloaded it using electrician tools and have free space. I love how I can close it and keep the tools safe from falling out or dusting. However, once unpacked, they are easy to see and receive. Both sides have a zipper cover and both sides have multiple pockets. It wasn't very clear to me in the description. Plenty of room in the middle for multimeters, wire nuts, wire clips etc. A slightly smaller version of this would be ideal for me.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Was damaged

Lots of space and well built.

This is a very well made bag with lots of space inside. Has strong zippers and handles. I like that it stands upright with the trays up because it gives you a good view of everything. I have 10 screwdrivers, 2 chisels, 2 metal snips, a nail puller, utility knife, pencils and pens, 3 adjustable wrenches, channel locks, an electrical tester, small drill with charger and accessories, hole saw, power tools, allen wrenches, speed corner. , hammer, needle nose pliers, etc. etc. and there is still…

Ideal for the plumber

I'm a plumber and I think this bag is perfect. Two outside pockets keep all my hand tools, from small to large, easily accessible and organized. The main internal compartment holds my bulkier items and has enough room for my hacksaw and an 18 inch plane. I've covered it with several layers of heavy Kiwi water repellent and while it's not waterproof, it stays dry in light rain. With prolonged exposure to heavy rain and water, it will seep. I carry over 60 pounds of gear in this bag every day and

Regular tool bag fits tool bag

I bought this tool bag when I first started trading electrical goods. The bag is empty and heavy. Add tools, it can get really heavy. The following tools fit in: an impact wrench, a hammer drill, an M18 flashlight, and sometimes I've thrown in a saw with charger, 2 batteries and a tool belt in the main compartment. At the same time, the bag was very heavy, I had to use a system of two pockets for tools. I basically stowed all of my hand tools in the side pockets and had plenty of free space…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Requires outlet

.I was looking for a Veto bag and then I came across this one!

First I looked at Veto bags, then I stumbled upon these. The CLC mechanism is great! I have many CLC devices. Everything is solid and well made, and this bag is no exception. It's huge with room for all your tools plus some power tools. Two zippered side flaps open to reveal tool pockets and mesh openings to neatly organize your essential tools on both sides of the bag. The middle compartment holds everything else, but be careful, this bag weighed about 55 pounds when I was done with it, LOL…

Swallows all your tools, demands more. Easily organized.

I have never bought a tool bag before this tool bag. I was fortunate to be in the trade where my apprentice/master gifted me all the tool bags I've had since I started the trade (2005). In mid-2011, my stylist gave me a Klein 17 oval tool bag, which I still have today. It's a $100 tool bag and it still works. After getting the CLC 1539, the first thing to do is that it is HUGE! It's like an average suitcase. It might not make it huge. My wife thought I was stripping like a giant. In any case…

  • Comfortable to use

Best of 3: Comparing CLC 1539, CLC 1537 and Husky Tool Wall Bag

A few months ago I bought an 18 inch CLC 1539, CLC 1537 and Husky Tool Wall Bag model #80897N09 to compare and to decide what works best for my needs. In the end, I chose the 1539 for its size and fantastic organizational skills, far superior to the Husky. I played around with the Husky very briefly before giving it up. appeared to be constructed fairly well, but the elastic straps across the pockets on the sides of the tools made it difficult to place the tools inside and this severely limited
