Review on CLC Custom LeatherCraft 1539 🧰 Multi-Compartment Tool Bag with 50 Pockets by Michael Daniels

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Swallows all your tools, demands more. Easily organized.

I have never bought a tool bag before this tool bag. I was fortunate to be in the trade where my apprentice/master gifted me all the tool bags I've had since I started the trade (2005). In mid-2011, my stylist gave me a Klein 17 oval tool bag, which I still have today. It's a $100 tool bag and it still works. After getting the CLC 1539, the first thing to do is that it is HUGE! It's like an average suitcase. It might not make it huge. My wife thought I was stripping like a giant. In any case, all my tools fit and there is still room for more. That thing looks heavy! Heavier than my small with the same tools inside. I will use the shoulder strap until it breaks, which reviews say will happen sooner or later. I like the organization. Fits my 440 channel locks as well as my small 7 inch cabinet screwdriver. I use the middle for my tool bags, which hold my sockets and rattles, and my counter. Also my T-square and tape measure. I have some 10" screwdrivers and a hammer that I could stuff in the center pocket, but I don't want to add extra weight. For me they were pointing down. This is my first CLC product. I saw that one of the back zippers was crooked so I fixed it. I hope they don't break because if you bend the metal it will never be the same again. I will update if there are any issues with this bag. I preferred it over the veto pro pac xl obviously because of the price but also because of the reviews, apparently they aren't as amazing in quality as they used to be. Look at my photos, I hope they help you in your purchase decision.
