Works great at low voltage. 16 gauge or less

It is not intended for wire stripping. I strip the wires, twist them, then plug them in and crimp them. Pinch the edge and it will open again. Ideal for low voltage

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • There are limitations

Not really "Dolphin "

The product received was not as advertised in the photo. They don't say "Dolphin" on the connector, but they look identical. I can't comment on how the performance differs from the brand name and it could actually be the same connector just without the lower priced brand.

Pros
  • GOLS certificate
Cons
  • I will say nothing

Excellent wire connectors

Loved this item. Used to splice wires in a doorbell that I cut very short when replacing the ring doorbell. The gel in the wire connector holds the wires in place until they are crimped and waterproof. I used a Dolphin dc-4141 crimping tool to crimp wire connectors. I have seen videos where other pliers or pliers can be used.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Low maintenance

Excellent communication, easy to use.

I've had these in the past and have searched for something similar to no avail, ended up having to go online to buy them again. They seal better than any other cable connector, with a coating on the inside to seal the connection and keep moisture out. Easy to use, twist and crimp. The only complaint I have is that they are small enough that some heavier gauge wires won't fit. However, it's a good size for small electronics and car audio.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Ideal for connecting RGB nodes for a Christmas light show

Ideal for connecting RGB LEDs, 18-20 AWG. especially in a hurry and without solder or shrink wrap. I used these and regular pliers (the serrated part of the sponge) for crimping. I seem to have better luck removing the screens and twisting them together and then attaching one of them. Then finish it off with duct tape or liquid tape. A quick and easy repair of LEDs in the field, in my case for a "Christmas Lights" display.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Almost never

The time of the best connectors.

They are perfect for my job (burglar alarm and CCTV technician). I use them almost every day for low voltage wiring. You can't beat the price and I wouldn't recommend any other brand. Dolphins (blue or white) are great and just work. I prefer the blue ones as they have gel sealant in the connector (compared to the white ones which don't) making it harder for water and such to get into the connectors. Detaches easily and usually holds up well if you need to reuse it after the connection is…

  • Easy to install

Electrical connectors quick and easy

These connectors are the best of their kind. I still strip the wires and twist them together before inserting and crimping. They're easy to use when you're at the top of a ladder and don't require special pliers to work; I personally like needle nose pliers or flat nose pliers, but almost any pliers will do. For any place that can get wet, filled ones work very well to prevent corrosion from leading to a bad connection; If they're going to be used somewhere that gets wet, I use the unfilled…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Very expensive

Rescuer! suitable for electricians

I had to connect to a very thin, very short and difficult to access cable. There was no way to get enough wires to use a butt connector or crimp cap, let alone put a large crimping tool in there. It was perfect, I cut the wire and created a jumper using my own wiring. I was able to slip it over the wire and hold it while I crimped it with a small needle nose pliers. The teeth are excellent for piercing insulation and holding it in place. Before the installation I did a lot of tests. Even when I
