🔍 Dorman 56108 Left Side Heated Mirror Glass for Ford / Lincoln Models Review

I'm glad I bought this mirror! The product arrived very quickly and nicely packaged. After reading the instructions and watching a YouTube video on how to replace my mirror, I installed and removed it in about 20 minutes. The only problem I had was my fault. I dropped the first mirror I bought and broke it. So of course I bought another one.

This is not auto dimming. Bought this 2 years ago. Finally got around to hanging it up. No automatic dimming. I looked at the product again but the description still says it is auto dimming. WRONG, WRONG. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME! I've read a lot of reviews now, you'd think Revain would rate the product, or the manufacturer would change the description, but clearly no one has. In short, if you are looking to replace your heated auto-dimming driver's mirror, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

This product claims to support auto dimming, but it doesn't. However, it will be warm. I was then contacted when I received the 1st and they said it must have been packaged incorrectly. They were great and sent me another one. The other had the same part number and still no auto dimming so I gave up and installed what I had as it was originally broken. It doesn't seem to have a wiring harness and just doesn't work, there are no connections at all.

This mirror is NOT AUTO DIM so I can't give it 5 stars. But the price is great and installation was easy. The hardest part was removing the original mirror. I found a video showing how to remove it. Revain won't let me share the link so just go to YouTube and search "How to Install and Replace the 2004-13 Ford F150 Power Mirror Motor". The mirror fits perfectly, it was on time! 3 stars for that. Cons: There is a small image for power folding mirrors in the corner of the glass. I don't have this function on my truck. (It's ok) The description says heated/auto dimming. The heated part is fine but there is no wiring in the glass for auto dimming. If I had known it didn't exist, I wouldn't have bought it.
