I'm glad I went for the chrome letter as I had a chrome bumper. My paint color (brushed steel) was light enough not to worry about not showing. Although the instructions seem very simple I decided to install my nephew Body Man as I just didn't want to mess up the installation so I can't comment on the ease of installation.
