This is a good product but mine came as shown in the picture below. It has a defective USB port. Doesn't fit in the store anymore. It's like a one-time use until the battery runs out. And small scratches on the new one.

These are so cool. when they work. Not enough space for solar panels to charge them. I need to charge them every few days and that is NOT the reason I bought them. Some of the power off buttons do not work. In the car, however, they are still a good deterrent.

A simple way to 'upgrade' your car's security. They give you 2 versions, blue led and red. It works great and is bright enough to see outside the car, especially at night. I just wish the glue was stronger but that can always be fixed.

UPDATE: After a month of owning this 'great' item, I now seem to have to downgrade it to 'good'. I am not sure if I will buy this again. I was hoping to have a replacement but it stopped working 2 days after turning the windows off. Actually pretty sad. So. This item gets 3 stars instead of the original 5 stars. Only Red really works for me as advertised ie. It charges in the sun and flashes red at night. I'm happy with that. However, the one with the blue light only works when the USB is plugged into a power source. If you disconnect the USB port/power supply and discharge the internal battery, it will not glow or blink in the dark. I don't think the battery will hold a charge. Attaches to dashboard or other location with double sided tape. Not easy to put on and take off if you don't have double-sided tape. In any case, it is solar powered. I've had mine on constantly for a month now and no problems. This is a great cheap and fast acting deterrent.
