Perfect fill light! Doesn't adjust color temperature but is normal for fill light. I prefer to use constant lighting for my portraits and this is light enough to carry around. Everyone who has seen my work with this light asks where I got it from because they want one. The only downside is that when you crank the light to the max, the cord comes loose.

No it's not super bright. But as a fill light it does a great job. The problem with all LED lights is that they are not bright enough. The small size is very convenient when you don't have enough space. very convenient. Wrapping the PSU in tape and sticking it on the stand isn't very pretty either. However, it is worth its price.

This lantern is quite bright and not too tiring to carry around as it is smaller than most comparable lanterns. It really looks and feels very cheap. All plastic body, not a very easy to assemble lock but honestly looks don't matter as long as it does the job and does it. One of the downsides is that the power connector is a small pin that isn't very secure. I had some sort of traveling case with me, or some way of holding it together on the go.

I've been using this light for a few months, usually for a soft backlight, but have recently used it as a main fill light. What mistake! When I transferred the footage from the camera to the computer, I experienced a great shock. My subject looked like either a red-faced clown or a completely dead person on the brink of decomposition. Buy it for the light and Bowens mount and treat everything else as gravy. The softbox is NOT suitable for on-site use, as you have to attach each individual metal rail of the screen into it. This is a labor intensive process. Comes in a large sturdy box for easy storage. It fits the Bowens mount - and comes with one - so you can have one and fit in any of your other boxes, which is possibly the best option for portability. This is a great studio light to add to your collection. In fact, we have several of these GVM lights and they all get along well with each other. This one is no different.
