Works with FM transmitters

Takes air and makes 315MHz bits instead. He did it with modest efficiency. Clearly redesigned parts, which is good. Probably made by slave labor. :-(

Pros

Cons

Missing components, incorrectly assembled, does not work.

Transmitter works well but one coil is missing. The receiver doesn't work at all. The receiver's output state is never stable and does not respond to signals from the transmitter. The receiver also lacks a resistor and there is no glue on the coil, indicating this module was never factory adjusted. Don't waste time, try a different type of radio module.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Almost never

Great product, just one "problem ".

So far, so good! They communicate fairly effectively over a decent distance. The only problem I had was getting the correct frequency for the receiver. Factory not calibrated. For those struggling: Connect a pair to multiple Arduinos and have one transmit a signal continuously. Just keep looking for that signal on the receiving end and slowly turn the frequency knob until you get it. Kind regards! Stay creative.

Complete OTHERS! Missing components! Solder spatter shorts other components!

I had to order 2 because the first one never came. The second was DOA. There are no SMCs on the receiver board and the 2 ohm resistor shown in the picture is also missing. Solder splatter is visible all over the board, which looks like some components are shorted out. Now I've lost a week of work on my project because of this zero quality control junk! Why does Revain let them sell that shit? I really hope this piece of junk didn't damage my new Raspberry Pi 4!
