I used this kit on an EagleTec ET-KG010 mechanical keyboard. The puller worked well with all keys on this keyboard. I removed each connector with a puller and placed a sound absorbing ring on each stand under each key. Someone took two rings and someone took three rings. These ring-shaped dampers make a difference, but a small one that's hard to quantify, especially in noisy environments. Compared to some black dampers I have. They are a bit more flexible/not as rigid. Thickness wise, I set my calipers at 1.5mm and the black dampers were always snug, while they were snug or thinner and dangled loosely in the jaws. I have a Corsair k70 Mk. 2 with brown Cherry MX keyswitches. The brown switches are pretty quiet, but you still hear a harsh noise when the button is pressed all the way down.
