Works great - 2ft from the truck door :(

Read to the end. I was in the truck and went to my house and it didn't work. I thought maybe I didn't have it" done" done The programming was correct so I did it again. No joy. I changed the battery and reprogrammed. Still no joy. It works if you are within 2ft of the truck. Is the antenna broke? Did I get a lemon? Curious mind wants to know and I have an egg on my face. After programming the remote the range was in the basement. But just like the range on the original remote. Even after fresh…

Programmed in seconds!

I haven't had a key fob for my Chevy in a few years. The price was right, so I ordered one. Literally a minute was spent reading the instructions and seconds programming. My truck locks and unlocks with the push of a button and I get a quiet signal from security that I'm safe!

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • Protection

Has worked normally for a few months

Easy to program. Worked fine at first. The buttons are easy to press with the keys in your pocket, resulting in an alarm/chime going off. After a few months it stopped working, reprogrammed and worked for about a week and then stopped working. So now I have to reprogram it every few days, maybe a week or so. The factory key fob stayed the same.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Expensive
