Perfect fit and definitely helped improve the quality of my backup presentation. The new camera didn't make video crystal clear, but it was a huge improvement.

This non-original camera gives a better picture than the one returned. I think it's as good as the original OEM trunk cam. I am using this device to mount a camper onto a truck where I need to remove the tailgate.

I have a GMC Sierra 1500 from 2015. Replaced the camera in 10 minutes and now it's perfect again. I would say that this camera actually has a wider field of view and is a bit sharper than the original. Very happy.

Installation is very easy and takes about 20 minutes. the picture is great! The dealer wanted more than double the price for the part alone and $125 for installation. I literally pulled the cord through the tailgate in 20 minutes using a hex screwdriver and coat hangers.

I wanted to buy a better camera than the OEM one that didn't have the clarity I wanted so I bet on this one. This camera is not much better than a standard rear camera. The picture is still a bit washed out and the colors are "off". Build quality isn't as good as an OEM camera, but that's to be expected for the price. I'd say it's a good replacement if your rear camera has completely failed, but if you're looking to improve image quality then this camera isn't for you.

I tested 4 rear cameras due to a wiring issue that I have since fixed. All had a very grainy quality except this one. While not HD, the picture was the only one on par or better than the OEM camera. At just over 1/3 the cost of an OEM camera this was a bargain and I would buy a camera again if I ever buy one. Another Problem.
