I used this lens on my a6000. It was fun discovering the best subjects and angles to create good fisheye images. I'm giving it five stars not because it's the best lens, but because it performs as well or better than I would expect from a lens at this price point. You should buy this lens just to play with it and create heavenly pictures. The only downside is that whatever's on the lens barrel isn't useful in the traditional sense. The focus scale is labeled "near" and "far". The opening marker is off, far away and should have been labeled 'open' and 'closed'. This is a very well made (full metal) and probably the cheapest exotic circular fisheye lens on the market. It's very sharp BUT you definitely need to focus it carefully if you want to get the best performance. Here's what I noticed when using the lens: 1) In DX format, the top and bottom of the circle are cropped - hence the 4 star rating.
