Type of review

I bought two different brands of insulated waterproof/water-resistant pants. I inspected both pairs for general build quality, material, and potential for actual usability. These pants lost at all of those. The pockets are thin/cheap, the fly zipper is cheap, and the fly button is sewn on with a conservative amount of very thin thread. The material seemed okay at first. They seem like they'd be pretty usable. But, compared to the other pants with large cargo pockets, I felt like these slightly…

Pros
  • Strategically placed pockets for easier access during activity
Cons
  • The pants may not be suitable for individuals with specific body shapes or curves, leading to an unflattering fit

what's not to like

Even though I live in california, it does get cold in the winter and these pants are game changers. In the past I've had flannel lined levi's which were decent but not compared to these. These are warmer, lighter and not baggy. They are windproof, but I have not tested the water proof feature. Nice looking too. Didn't give them 5 stars, because the care instructions were not in english, so not sure how to wash and dry them.

Pros
  • Love these pants. Bought one for me and my son.
Cons
  • The pants are not very durable, ripping easily after just a few wears

Great value best in my review

Warm, great prices. Run a little in the larger side so if your in between sizes go smaller. Crouch is a little long right. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • Versatile pants that can be worn in a variety of settings
Cons
  • The pants may not be suitable for individuals with certain disabilities or mobility issues, causing discomfort or difficulty

Lined but not insulated

I agree with dea215. The "fleece" lining is bonded to the outer fabric. It provides little if any insulation. Froze my bottom half off on first walk. A good pair of unlined jeans has about the same insulation factor.

Pros
  • Convenient zippered pockets to store your essentials safely
Cons
  • The pants are not very stylish or trendy, making them less desirable for fashion-conscious individuals

Waterproof and Comfortable!

The good news is that the pants fit well, are waterproof and are very utilitarian. The bad news was that the work boots.not so much. They are quite nice, easy to work in and wash well. Great product!

Pros
  • Highly dependable in rugged outdoor environments
Cons
  • The pants are not very lightweight or travel-friendly, making them less convenient for on-the-go activities

Very nice, but the size seems a little off.

The pants seem to be well made and are very comfortable. I tested how water repellent they were before and after washing and it was very good with no signs of absorbing any moisture. I typically wear a 38 waist and order a 38, which was too large. I exchanged it for a 36 and the waist and length were perfect. They didn't shrink after cool washing and hang drying. I would have rated them a 5 except for the size issue. I haven't used them for fishing yet, so time will tell how tear resistant they

Pros
  • Built to withstand extreme weather conditions
Cons
  • The pants may not be suitable for individuals with certain skin conditions, causing irritation or rash

Good pants - my new review

I wish they had choices in inseem length. Im 5 11” and wish they were about an inch or two longer when I have boots on. Overall, I’m happy. I bought the 32” waist size.

Pros
  • September 6, 2021
Cons
  • The tapered fit may not be suitable for individuals with larger legs or thighs

Comfy pants, leg length a bit short

Overall comfort of these pants are amazing, would almost rather wear these then pajama pants when lounging around. Was a bit disappointed with the length of the pants while wearing KEEn hiking boots, the cuff tends to rise up in a "high water” appearance. I am currently stationed in Greenland and wearing these with the sub-zero temps without any issues.

Pros
  • Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry
Cons
  • The waistband is too tight, leading to discomfort and the need for constant adjustment

Warm while they work, but zipper breaks

Fit as expected. However, the zipper breaks after about 2-3 months and it’s really disappointing. Keeps warm while they work

Pros
  • Provides excellent insulation and warmth without bulkiness
Cons
  • The pants may not be suitable for individuals with wider hips or thighs, causing discomfort or tightness

Great pants - my new review

I wear a 34 in Wrangler jeans. Ordered the 32 in these. Fit great, and at least 2 inches of stretch. The inseam is in fact 29 inches. But with boots, not a problem. Nice trim fit. I am ordering another pair now.

Pros
  • Breathable material keeps you comfortable and cool during physical activity
Cons
  • The pants are not very versatile in terms of color options, limiting customization for personal style preferences

Good for skiing but not truly waterproof

They fit a bit snug but the material stretches a bit, so the fit is ok over-all. I like the fleece interior and the cut is stylish. I think these would be great for skiing or snowboarding where interaction with the water is minimal. However, if you are looking for true waterproof pants, these will absorb the water and you will get wet, for example if you are hiking or biking in the rain.

Pros
  • Perfect fit! Water proof and great for skiing.
Cons
  • The sizing runs small, making it difficult to find the right fit

Hot pants for cold hikes!

These pants are a godsend to me. They fit nicely to include the inseam. Best thing I have worn in my daily sub-zero hikes in decades.

Pros
  • High-quality zippers for added durability and easy access to your belongings
Cons
  • The pants are not very fashionable or stylish, leading to a lack of personal expression or creativity

Skiing For First Time

I needed a pair of waterproof pants to ski in for the first time. These were comfortable and breathable. I wore a base layer underneath them and stayed warm. They allowed for a free range of movement as well.

Pros
  • Available in a range of sizes and colors to suit your style
Cons
  • The pants may not be suitable for individuals with wider calves or ankles, causing tightness or discomfort

Meh probably not worth the $

Definitely had a strong and nasty chemical smell upon opening the shrink-wrapped package. Had to wash right away. Overall this is a strange pair of pants.the seams in the front part of the legs are weird - and make for an awkward feel, plus the lower pockets seem unusable, not sure what I can really put in there and still walk normally. Most likely returning unless I cant find a more suitable pair of lined pants.

Pros
  • Husband loves them service it's purpose, great for outside cold weather and rain
Cons
  • The pockets are too small to hold more than a few items, making it difficult to carry necessary gear

Comfortable and warm but not waterproof

I bought these pants for hiking. I had tried others but they were too bulky and felt more like snow pants. These pants are not waterproof. They are water resistant and will get wet. But, all in all, this product is warm and easy to walk in. The show is. The Shell is soft. For the money I would buy another pair.

Pros
  • Durable and resistant to daily wear and tear
Cons
  • The pants may not be suitable for individuals with certain body types, leading to an unflattering fit

Good, But Sizing Issue

These pants are true to US brand men's pants. I followed the size chart, and it said my husband needed a larger size than usual. These were too big, so we are going to exchange them for his standard size.

Pros
  • Nice pants the length could be longer to go over boots
Cons
  • uno de los bolsillos de enfrente esta sellado y no se puede utilizar

These are great fitting pants

I just got these and put them on and wow. They fit perfectly. I’m 6’1” and weigh around 220 and normally wear a size 36x32 in pants. I ordered the size 36 and they are perfect, not too tight or too loose and the length is spot on. Will he ordering another pair of these soon.

Pros
  • Sleek, stylish design for a modern look
Cons
  • The pants are not very flexible or stretchy, causing restrictions in movement during physical activity

Amazing pants - my new review

Took 5 of these pants to Iceland in November, amazing! Best clothing I took hands down. Waterproof and warm. That's my feedback.

Pros
  • Stretchy material allows for comfortable movement and flexibility
Cons
  • The pants are not very fashionable or trendy, making them less appealing for younger age groups or social circles

Revainrating 3 out of 5

water resistant not waterproof!

I like them, they fit nice and kept me warm in 48 degree rainy weather. good stretch movement during activity. for the most part they kept me dry except for seam while sitting on my bike seat, I felt water seep through a little bit. haven't tested them in down pour rain yet but for light rain, riding my bike they were better than jeans or cargo pants. would have got a 5 star if they were truly water proof.

Pros
  • Softshell Pants Summitskin Pants: Men’s durable winter pants has ripstop fabrics to protect your legs from gravel, scratch resistant & tear resistant, designed for outdoor enthusiasts. Belt included.
Cons
  • The pants are not very form-fitting, leading to a baggy or unflattering appearance

Great pants for Iceland

Fleece lined, windproof, and waterproof. I wore these in Iceland. They got wet at times but I did not. They are confortable, functional, and warm, especially when combined with a mid weight base layer .

Pros
  • 进口
Cons
  • The pants run long in the inseam, causing excess fabric bunching up around the ankles
