Moog K8439 Rack Pinion Bellows Review

Good starting quality but completely destroyed by engine compartment heat in a few years. The original parts lasted much longer. I expected more from Moog.

The best you can buy. I replaced those dust bags that were on the new rack. The new bellows that were on the post were much stiffer! They are also flexible in the cold.

Good product, flexible and fits my 1994 Ford Taurus almost exactly. This is not exactly the same as the OEM as the OEM has smaller and narrower bellows near the tip while these aftermarket have the same bellows shape and size throughout. No problem, because it fits, but due to its shape, the bellows compresses uncomfortably in the area where it deviates from the original. Time will tell if this area needs to be monitored for wear.
