First, let me say that I am an experienced photographer. I've worked with basic cameras to widescreen cameras. I bought this for my daughter. It's just an amazing little camera. The lens is super fast, the focus is pretty damn good and the image quality is amazing. Depending on what you're looking for, this camera could be the one for you.

I've had other Nikons before. This is the most complex with so many features and possibilities. I bought the DUMMIES book to find out. Loading film and shooting with my Nikon FG film camera is like going from driving a Ford to a Jet 747. Did some research on this. If you don't need a "feature" of the D5500, D7200 or D7500, this camera is a no-brainer. Has the same image processing chip and lens as others, so the image is 100% the same. This camera with a better lens produces much better images than a D7500 with a standard lens. EDIT: Snapbridge functionality was fixed after the last iOS update, but it didn't work for 2 months between updates.
