I have mixed feelings, giving this four stars. Why? Well, when I opened the lid, a handful clearly wasn't enough. You should have seen the fingerprints! I took a picture. With most products, that would make you feel weird, wouldn't it? But there was still at least £4.50 left and the price was still under £1. So I'm still using it. I only needed about 4 ounces or so. The putty was in good condition, damp and very usable. I believe even if the person who took something had any disease, it would…

Pros
  • Stays flexible, won't crack or shrink
Cons
  • Has flaws

I can't use it when it's dry!

My review on this product is the second I've seen with the issue of the product arriving wilted and totally unusable. I use plumbing a lot and always buy small tubs and they are fine. But I suspect these large tubs are not in high demand and should sit and dry for a while. I don't have to go through the extra time and effort to return an item, so here I am with a large bucket of dried plumbing compound. I recommend buying regular sized small tubs, but I wouldn't recommend big ones like this.

Pros
  • High-quality spatula ensures a watertight seal.

rated at 4200 gph, produces enough waterfall

This is our second WGP 95 Little Giant as an unsupervised pup broke the line the first after years of heavy use. We liked the pump so much we replaced it with a duplicate. Our ponds have been around for about ten years now, we have used a variety of pumps including external pumps designed for swimming pumps. It is by far the best pump for typical carp ponds. To keep the inlet from clogging we took the milk crate and added a 1/4 inch wire mesh with a cut out for the pump hose and power cord. Now

Pros
  • Meets Military Specification TTP-1536A. Not for use on marble, granite, plastic or other oversized rocks
Cons
  • Long Lead Time

This material is very good at stopping leaks. I used it to stop a leak in the shower and then I used it to stop a leak in a water heater. I was amazed to see that the water heater leak was reduced by 75% after packing this stuff around the leak which was great because the plumber couldn't come to replace the water heater until a week later. The putty in the tin I received was still malleable and workable. Not difficult like some of the reviews I read say. The only drawback is that it is a very…

Pros
  • Conforms to military specification TTP-1536A. Do not use on marble, granite, plastic or other large rocks
Cons
  • Expensive

Looks like the motor in the pump is dying

I bought this pump from Revain about a year ago. The warranty is stated in the Amazon product description as 3 years. The pump was installed in a plastic box that lets water through but keeps dirt out. It sits in my pond and pumps maybe 3 feet to a stream that flows back into my pond. After about a year of use, the pump started dropping my GFCI output, meaning the pump was drawing too much current. I checked the pump to make sure there were no obstructions and the propellers were spinning…

Pros
  • Good quality putty makes a watertight seal
Cons
  • Some faults

The company stands behind their product!

I use these pumps for a waterfall in my garden. This is my third or fourth little giant pump of this type. They work pretty hard as it's a larger body of water. They usually last around 3-4 years but the last one I bought (through Revain) broke after around 17 months. Usually the capacitor fails and you hear a humming noise, but the impeller stops spinning. There aren't many ways to work with them - they were made to be used and then thrown away. When the pump failed before the 3 year warranty…

Pros
  • Used where anti-fungal is required
Cons
  • Expensive
