Good bang for the buck

Relatives had a $250 soundbar to brag about. The $100 Pyle system knocked the bar out of the water. My receiver only has 4 speaker inputs. I need to find out if there's a way to fake Pyle's system. The TV speaker is currently used as the center channel and is working properly.

Pros
  • Good workmanship
Cons
  • Negative gift

Nice look, great sound. worth the price

Just got the speakers and hooked them up to my Onyko NR636 receiver, very very nice sound, rich tones, nice bass. The speaker comes with a subwoofer, 1 satellite speaker, 1 center speaker and 4 wall brackets. Very good speakers and surprisingly great sound, I would recommend

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Functionality

The rear speakers are excellent, the subwoofer not so much.

Bought as a gift for a family member. The surround speakers are amazing. They go through the Onkyo receiver and they get really loud and sound great. The ability to separate the directions of each speaker means the sound can be heard anywhere in the room. My only problem is the subwoofer. It doesn't have a built-in amplifier. So if you want it to work, you'll also need an additional amplifier. If you already have a powered subwoofer, these speakers are more than worth getting.

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Hard to say

Better than expected performance

I was looking for a small system and didn't want to spend a fortune. I was also fortunate to have a dedicated subwoofer built into my Techniques amp, so I didn't need a powerful subwoofer. Everything was well packed. The speakers sound very decent when set up correctly. Make sure they are set to "small" and most of the bass goes to the subwoofer. I used to sell Bose and installed probably 15 am10 and am5 over the years. These speakers gave me 80% of what a Bose system does for 1/10 the price.

Pros
  • Ease of use
Cons
  • Quick start guide

Not angry. but still reasonably priced

First, an important disclaimer: These are *not* Bose speakers. Yes, they do have a passing resemblance to Bose, but I knew that nothing in the sub-$100 price range could match the performance of a true Bose system. More importantly, it's *only* the dynamics; They don't come with an amplifier. Also, the subwoofer isn't powered either; it works passively in concert with the front left and right channels. So you'll need to buy an amplifier separately (or pair it with your existing amp), ideally a…
