Works well but could fit better

Fits Weller SPG80 soldering iron, but dangles a bit. Energy and heat transfer is wasted but works well but could be more efficient. Obviously after the market Mike

So far, so good. for spare parts and accessories

I haven't had these tips long enough to write a detailed review, but I'm using them and so far they're working well. They are the correct size and exactly as pictured.

  • MTG21 (chisel point 7 mm), MTG22 (chisel point 10 mm), MTG00 (beveled point 7 mm).

The investment is worthwhile

Haven't used all three tips yet but from what I've used they are pretty good. They fit well into the iron with virtually no play. Smaller tips help with finer work. I think they are worth the investment.

Much more than I expected

This is HUGE. I was expecting soldering tips for much smaller irons, my problem is that I didn't read the picture which says it's 9+mm in diameter. Since I screwed up I won't be asking for a refund, just sticking them in my tool box and maybe one day in the future I'll need a BIG soldering iron.
